2014 Harvest and Market Conditions
is early and lighter than last year. The early grapes at
shown good maturity and a smaller berry size.
California is in it's
third year of severe drought and many farmers are not looking
forward to next year unless there are significant rains this
winter and a good snow pack in the High Sierras. Next year could
pose problems for availability.
prices have not jelled therefore there has been a delay in
issuing pricing. Expect grapes that you normally buy to come in
earlier than normal. Because of the dry conditions nutrient
deficiency may be a factor resulting in possible stuck

supply so early ordering will be necessary.

vineyards have provided us with excellent quality fruit in the
past two years. We return to the same grapes at the same prices
as last year. Please note that pre-order is necessary and a
$50 deposit per pail ordered is required. We expect delivery
the 3rd or 4th week of November.

Harvest prior to this session.
